If Graduates or Guests need a visa to travel to France to attend the Graduation Ceremony & Gala, they will need to apply for a TOURISM VISA – SHORT STAY.  It is the responsibility of Graduates and/or Guests to obtain them it the French Embassy.

In case of problems with the visa application, Graduates should contact their program coordinator.

GETTING TO GRENOBLE

Grenoble...The heart of the Alps

Grenoble, at the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region in southeast France, is in the Isère départment and holds a strategic position at the crossroads between northern and southern Europe.

157,900 people live in the city and 425,650 live in the greater Grenoble area (34 cities).

The city is surrounded by three mountain ranges: Chartreuse, Vercors and Belledonne.

By train
Several daily connections with large cities in Europe:

  • Grenoble-Paris: 7 direct TGV high speed trains (3-hour journey)
  • Grenoble-Lille-Bruxelles: 1 TGV high-speed train per week, (5.5-hour journey)
