WATER SMART TERRITORIES

Launched in 2019, Water Smart Territories is a cooperative project gathering more than 21 EU regions working on water-related issues. Through active interregional cooperation, WST acts as an european trends observatory aiming at providing concrete solutions to water challenges faced by the Regions. Based on a comprehensive mapping of challenges and expertise, 5 working groups have been built to foster the collaboration, share strategic information and best practices around key strategic thematics: Sludge, Diffuse pollution, Micro pollution, Digitalisation, Circular Economy.

WST is now entering into a new stage by inviting not only the regions but also all key innovative stakeholders to join the discussion. WST aims to become the place to build together WINNing relationships and innovation projects.

THE BLUES PROJECT

BLUES is a cross-border and cross-regional partnership gathering of 5 mature clusters that combine capacities, technologies and solutions to address blue and eco-industries challenges for industrial modernisation. With BLUES the consortium comes to a next stage through the implementation of the ClusterXchange pilot scheme that furthers in the implementation of a joint strategy by supporting 50 exchanges between cluster SME, scale-up organisations and clusters to foster the knowledge sharing that facilitate the acceleration, development and leadership of new water-efficient European industry, that will enable the transition towards a sustainable Europe by 2030.
