Dimensions of Not-knowing: The power, depth and liberating clarity of Don’t-know mind

Our world encourages us to be smart and sophisticated, yet cleverness and knowledge cannot penetrate the depths of understanding, and cannot free us from ourselves. We long for peace and love and wisdom, yet easily lose ourselves in drama and detail, trying to figure out who we are, what we should be doing and what we think about ourselves, others and life.

Genuine contemplative practice leads us into not-knowing, going beyond belief, judgement and familiar views. Over the 5 days of this online retreat, I’ll be offering this specific body of teachings and practices for the first time, exploring how not knowing can liberate and deepen our relationship to bodily life, to relationships, to our understanding of the nature of self and world and reality.

DETAILS:

The 5 days of retreat will include meditation instruction, silent and guided group meditation practice, daily teachings, dialog exercises and Q&A with Martin. The retreat will be live and interactive on ZOOM, with recordings also available to all participants.

The teachings are offered freely (with the invitation to offer dana for my support). The retreat is also a benefit for Moulin de Chaves meditation centre, with a €100 registration fee going to support the Moulin which lost most of its income last year due to the Covid pandemic.

DATES AND TIMINGS:

31 Mar - Meeting at 7.30-9pm UK, 20h30-22h EU
1 Apr - Meeting 3 times a day at 9.30am, 3pm and 6.30pm UK time (10h30., 16h, 19h30 EU).
2 Apr - Meeting 3 times a day at 9.30am, 3pm and 6.30pm UK time (10h30., 16h, 19h30 EU)
3 Apr - Meeting 3 times a day at 9.30am, 3pm and 6.30pm UK time (10h30., 16h, 19h30 EU)
4 Apr  - Meeting at 10.30am UK time (11h30 EU) for the closing session

Sessions will be 60-90 minutes long and will be recorded.  Recordings will be available to all the attendees for six months.
