Matyouz LaDurée is a Voguing and hip hop dancer. Voguing dates back to the 1960s / 70s. Born in the East Coast in Harlem, this movement was initiated by the Afro and Latinos LGBT community in reaction to white racism. Constantly feeling discriminated against during balls - beauty contests and parades - the Black and Latino LGBT community has ended up creating its own events.
Strong member of Paris Ballroom Scene Matyouz is The GodFather of the first French House of Voguing: House Of LaDurée. Subsequently, Matyouz became speaker of several Voguing events in France and then in Europe. He also won a lot of international Grand Prize in Hands Performance category (Italy, Holland, Germany, Spain, USA).
A look and a personality define the one and only Matyouz.
Leï TheNight also known as Raïssa Leï is a versatile dancer who has evolved for many years through different influences, from traditional North African to clubbing dances. She created an exclusive fusion of these two universes.
In 2003, she discovered Waacking through Locking. Waacking is a dance created in gay clubs in Los Angeles during the disco funk era of the 70s. This dance is imbued with the glamor of the poses of actresses and divas of the 50s with strong energy in arms as well as groove, latinas and jazzy influences.
From 2008 Leï participated to events in the USA, Japan and Europe to meet the pioneers of Waacking and enter battles. Then she started to teach and perform Waacking and fusion in Europe.
In 2010 she created the "Waack & Pose!" association to highlight the Waacking and Voguing cultures in France by organizing different events.
