Breath and Death: The art of living and dying fully
Home retreat online, 8-13 June
Dharma practice invites us to enter fully into living and dying. To meditate on our breathing, and therein to find and to understand the arising and passing of the whole of life.
As we cannot yet hold retreats at the Moulin, Martin will be offering meditation, guidance and teachings and interactive inquiry together, meeting 3 times a day at 9.30am, 2.30pm and 6.30pm UK time (10h30., 15h30, 19h30 EU).
Start time of the retreat will be on June 8th at 6.30pm UK time.
June 9-12, meeting 3 times a day at 9.30am, 2.30pm and 6.30pm UK time (10h30., 15h30, 19h30 EU).
The retreat will end on the 13th of June after the 2.30pm session.
Sessions will be 60-90 minutes long and will be recorded. Recordings will be available to all the attendees for six months.
You may be able to take the time to retreat fully in silence, or you may be integrating formal practice with daily roles, responsibilities and relationships. Online teachings over the last 2 months of home confinement have shown how powerfully we can bring our practice into our daily lives. Teachings during the retreat will reflect this integration, exploring personal, social and existential dimensions. Meditation practices will be drawn from the Anapanasati sutta, Buddha’s treatise on ‘Mindfulness of Breathing’, which deeply explore human experience through breath awareness.
The registration cost is €100 to cover administration costs and support our retreat centre, Moulin de Chaves which has a huge funding gap caused by the Coronavirus emergency. Martin’s teachings will be offered with the invitation to offer dana, at PayPal.me/MartinAylward
