A two-day conference

Jointly organised by Georgetown Law's Institute for International Economic Law  and the Graduate Institute's Centre for Trade and Economic Integration, the Annual Conference on WTO and Global Economic Regulation is widely considered one of the most important and prestigious conferences addressing developments in international trade law.

The Annual Conference on WTO Law, which has its origins in the partnership created in the year 2000 between University Professor John H. Jackson of Georgetown, and Professor Sir Francis Jacobs, KCMG, QC, a Trustee of BIICL, has a longstanding affiliation with the Journal of International Economic Law (JIEL), published by the Oxford University Press.

The conference will be held on two days at different venues

A copy of your ID Card/ Passport is requested at the moment of the purchase only for security purposes.

The registration fee includes:

Admission to the conference on both days; a printed copy of the conference programme; lunch on both days; coffee breaks; and use of the wifi.

The registration fee does not include:

Accommodation nor attendance at the Conference dinner on Friday evening.

Badge collection starts on Friday 7th June at 10:00 AM in the foyer of Petal 2. Please make sure to bring the copy of your ticket with you.

In order to gain entrance to the WTO on Saturday, it is necessary to have your ID document that you have provided for the purchase of the ticket. Please note that strict controls will be in place that may delay your entrance. Please plan your arrival well in advance.

Cancellation policy:

  • A 100% refund will be given for cancellations received before 10th May, 2019
  • 50 % refund will be given for cancellations received before 25th May, 2019
  • No refund will be given for cancellations received after 4th June, 2019
