Descriptif
Understanding the importance of the microenvironment in tumor progression has become a major challenge in cancer research in recent years. The tumor microenvironment is emerging as an important source of new therapeutic targets, but can also provide biomarkers with diagnostic and/or prognostic values. There is no doubt that the Toulouse community is increasingly interested in the tumor microenvironment, which is why the CRCT and the IPBS propose to organize a joint symposium on this topic entitled "The tumor and its environment". This symposium will be open to the whole scientific community of Toulouse.
The lunch break (free for the participants) will be an opportunity to promote exchanges and to stimulate collaborations between the different participants of the Toulouse research groups working on the tumor microenvironment.
This symposium will take place on December 01 from 9:00 to 17:30 in the auditorium of the Toulouse Museum. The organizing committee includes Corinne Bousquet and Christine Jean from the CRCT, and Catherine Muller-Staumont and Frédéric Lagarrigue from the IPBS.
