Lost in Frenchlation is proud to present our first feature in the new venue of Beau Regard Cinema in Saint Germain! For our comedy night, we will present ‘Yves,’ an uproarious comedy about the absurdity of life and our ever-evolving relationship with technology. Before the screening, not only will we have a stand-up comedy show, but we will also have a discussion about Artificial Intelligence!

THE MOVIE: Jerem decides to settle at his grandma’s place to compose his first album. There, he meets So, a mysterious investigator working on behalf of the startup Digital Cool. She will persuade Jerem to try out Yves, a new kind of smart refrigerator gifted with AI. Little by little, Yves creates bonds of friendship with Jerem and, by becoming his ghost writer, will turn him into a star. With Yves, life was supposed to be easier...– Plot

THE PLAN:

The screening will take place at Beau Regard cinema, just a stone’s throw from the classic Café de Flore in the elegant neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. We will be kicking the night off with drinks at 7:30pm and a stand-up comedy show at 8pm followed by a discussion on AI in partnership with Spark the Change! Spark the Change is a global community of people and organizations whose mission is to “change the world of work”. One of their numerous speakers that encourage stronger businesses and better work environments will be in attendance! The night will end with the screening of the movie at 8:30PM.
