France: Emerging new business frontiers

Emmanuel Macron, France’s president and his party “La République en Marche” won a solid functional majority in June which enables him to start working on his business-friendly programme of reforms. He has promised to begin with the labour market in order to free up job creation. Europe's third biggest economy has suffered years of weak growth, high unemployment and budget deficits. Emmanuel Macron will be judged on his results and expectations are high.
