"What are the Policy Lessons from Sweden? On the Rise, Fall and Revival of a Capitalist Welfare State"

Andreas Bergh is a scholar who has written several works on the Swedish reforms, notably the book "Den kapitalistiska välfärdsstaten" (The Capitalist Welfare State). During this conference Andreas will talk to us about the reforms of the Swedish welfare system that took place during the 1980s and 1990s. Why did they take place and how can Sweden and other countries learn from the development during this intense period of reforms?

The confence is led by Daniel Waldenström, Professor in Economics, currently a guest lecturer at Sorbonne.
