What’s the secret behind a high performing team? What can we learn from the elite sports world and teams like the Belgian Cats or the Belgian Cheetahs? How can we use these findings in the business world?
For Belgian Sports Teams, 2018 has been full successes! Let’s take the example of The Belgian Cats, our women’s’ national basketball team, who, these past few years, surprised us and their rivals at European and World Championships. In September 2018, they ended up at the 4th place at their first ever World Championship and are now qualified as one of the 16 teams for the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019.
Ellen Schouppe, a Sports Psychologist for various national teams like the Belgian Cats, is convinced that the elite sports world and the business world can learn a lot from each other.
On Tuesday February 26th, from 18:30 to 20:30, she will give you, based on her experiences, insights in the necessary ingredients needed to build and develop high performing teams in your company.
Ellen Schouppe graduated as a Work and Organization Psychologist and had a successful transition to the elite sport world after more than 10 years of talent development within the HR business world. As a Sports Psychologist, she has provided her expertise to various national teams over the past ten years, including the Belgian Cats (basketball), the Red Panthers (hockey) and the Belgian Cheetahs (4x 400m relay team). In addition, she coaches top teams in clubs such as the basketball club Belfius-Mons Hainaut and soccer club RSCA.
